Hello. First, housekeeping:

1. Standard apology for not having updated this journal in eleventy squillion years: I'm sorry I haven't updated this journal in eleventy squillion years. Everyone else updates their journals with interesting stuff, I just don't have much to say.

2. Shop is going well. It's paying its rent, which is a big deal for a small business that's only been open a couple of months.

3. Storm season hasn't started yet, so there're no new lightning photos.

In the "new news" department, we have:

- I bought a new dining table and chairs. OH YEAH.
- I'm reading Dawkin's latest book, and it's as spiffy as I expected.
- I recently bought an old Olympus OM 50mm f1.8 lens and an adaptor so I can whack it on my E-510, so you can readily anticipate a deluge of photographs of very small items enjoying themselves in the tiny slice of clarity between the front bokeh and the back bokeh.
- All is well.

Thanks for the dev-watch and addition to your awesomely awesome collection. There are some fantastic photographs in it!

Hmm, can't wait for some storms here, too. We've had a couple, and plenty of wind, but nothing much of that wet stuff and nothing to get the camera out for.

I dropped in to Lightning Ridge back in January, but it was a work trip, so we couldn't hang around and check out the place =/
