Hello! How's it going?

I'm not sure at this point, we're planning to be in Tasmania in mid January. I'll keep you posted, though, things are highly prone to changing.

Nice Isolated T-Storm! You can see the lightning is in the back of the storm

Sweet! The lightning's back!

Just out of interest, do you know of any good information sources on doing this type of photography?

Steve.

They sure do. Actually, the mid latitudes suck. I wouldn't mind being in southern Florida at the moment. I could deal with temps in the 80s+ year round. LOL.

Heh. At the moment I'd be happy if it was either cooler than it is now, or storming to justify it. It's 99F right now. Yay!

Oooohhhh, send some of that warmth my way!! It's dropped down to like 20 here and I'm FREEZING! Not to mention there's a snowstorm forecast for Tuesday/Wednesday.

Yeah, snowstorm. Too bad we NEVER seem to get the worst of it. That always happens to the west and north of us. But since it moved out, the temps dropped to the single digits. This morning it was 1 degree outside with a windchill of about -20. It suuuuucked! And I have to go back out in that crap again. Definitely NOT my day. I want it to be spring again. I want supercell thunderstorms and tornadoes!

We never get the worst of anything here, either. I'd like to experience some decent cold weather, though. It never gets below freezing, here. Stupid Australian desert!
