From The Top by =datazoid Talk about a weather photograph, this is pretty amazing! Artist also has a very similar image in his gallery done in portrait format (picking between the 2 of them was a coin flip for which one to feature for a DD....not easy!) A great shot at just the perfect moment, with excellent back lighting within the clouds...a fine shot I think many of us can admire! (Featured by ^kkart)

I wish it would do that here! It never rains and I'm moving to Seattle! LOL! This is so magnificent and the power of nature is at large and flaunting her wrath so elegantly! Superb capture and congratulations on the DD!

This is just... indescribably beautiful, and so very haunting.

It conjures up incredibly vivid memories for me - of standing on the front porch in the dead of summer, watching a thunderstorm roll by in the distance, the warm breeze through the grass and trees and over my skin, smelling the faint scent of ozone over leaves and grass and hearing the low rumble of thunder... :)

A truly enviable capture!

i'm quite amazed cause you opened 6s but it's still so dark, you used some Hoya ND filter ??
