I've just started a new project: I Don't Understand is an educational YouTube channel about, so far, weird stuff. The first video is now up, and it's about crayfish and the bizarre way they survive shedding their defensive exoskeletons!

Hello! I thought I'd be entirely uncharacteristic and actually update my journal, even to the extent of attempting to build a decent theme to go with it.

The response to these has been quite overwhelming, not only on DeviantART but on Facebook, Reddit, Twitter and some other more terrifying places the internets have to offer. Please continue to share the image with your friends!

Heyhey. I haven't died - the rumours have been greatly exaggerated.
I've recently (six months ago) moved half-way across the country. I'm now much further south than I was before.
I'm struggling to get any enthusiasm and inspiration for photography again, which is disappointing me. I don't have as much spare time as I once had, and unfortunately taking happy snaps doesn't pay the bills.
I'm still around, I'm still occasionally doing things, and I still check in here when I can.
